The 3 Valleys

It is the largest skiing resort in the world yet still has 50% of easy slopes (green and blue) and 50% of expert sloped (red and black). It is also the resort where visitors spend the most time skiing rather than queuing up for ski lifts. What's more, 85% of its slopes are above 1800m, which enables the 3 Valleys to guarantee optimum snow coverage from the start of December to the end of April.

Of the 330 slopes in the resort, 13% are green slopes, 39% are blue slopes, 38% are red slopes and 10% are black slopes, giving an almost 50-50 split between easy slopes and expert slopes. The skiing resort has been designed for both beginners and children and expert skiers alike. Expert skiers can try going off-piste, supervised by mountain professionals, along the 400km² covered by the 3 Valleys are, which is 4 times the surface area of Paris.
